In Anchorage!

We arrived at the Milliennium Hotel in Anchorage around 2:30 AM last night, March 1 (5:30am Texas time.) Everything went well except for a one hour delay in Dallas. Our suitcases arrived too! It was something below zero, with a flag flapping hard outside, so there must have been quite a windchill. The sky is crystal clear this morning, and we may be able to see Denali today. My sister, who lives in Fairbanks, sent us parkas and snowpants by Gold Streak Alaska Air that we have to pick up this morning. She is afraid we are going to freeze to death. Had a GORGEOUS view of the Alaska coastline and mountains on our approach to Anchorage last night, due to clear skies and nearly full moon reflecting off the snow.
